SharpReader and OPML
May 18th, 2006I have uploaded my feeds which I exported from SharpReader. I have gone through a few blog readers in the last few months. The web-based feed readers have been disappointing. I wanted a good system which would allow me to use my home or work computer and keep them current with eachother, which made the web-based solutions ideal. But when I view the Slashdot feed and it is 3 weeks old it is time to move on.
My strategy with SharpReader is to simply use blog tags in Scuttle to post the links I use to the website and then load them into SharpReader.

Re: web-based feed readers...Have you seen Planet??
The homepage is here, but Sam Ruby (Great blogger, btw, I highly recommend you add him) has been making a lot of great contributions to it lately which is why I linked to his planet instead of the homepage. He just recently posted the quick setup directions for making a personal planet on his blog. He's already gotten started on a web-fronted for planet management, as well.
