Regina Spektor, My New Favorite Singer

I saw Regina Spektor sing on the Conan O'Brien show the other night. She sang Fidelity and it was amazing. She has a unique style which is appealing with all of the average music I have been hearing on the mediocre local radio stations. Her voice is great. She also mixes in the piano and other strings which compliment her voice well. She played the piano as she sang on the Conan O'Brien show. After she finished the song Conan said it was the best performance he has seen on his show in very long time. He even repeated himself and she was clearly flattered with such a genuine compliment.
You can sample her music on her MySpace page. So far I have purchased Fidelity and On The Radio from the iTunes Music Store. I will probably dig for a few more to buy.
