It seems you could take a trip to Madison and take a ride on a Segway with Wonders on Wheels. They let you ride a Segway for a fee and will take you on a tour. It does not seem like such a bad idea I suppose. Someone told me the city is doing a trial program for either the police or mail services to use Segways to get around. That seems like an enormous amount of money to just travel around when you could just walk, use a bike or even use a push scooter if you must. The last I heard a Segway was over $3000 to buy and I am sure maintenance has to be expensive due to the complex technology. But as a gimmick, I think it would be appealing to take a tour on a Segway. I just wish they had one here in Milwaukee.

Back when I was in college it seemed that every single time I sat down to browse different websites I would find something really fun and interesting. These days I find it difficult to find the same types of websites and I am stuck with just CNN.com and Slashdot and even those offer little to pique my interest. I suppose all the excitement of reading about something on the web ended the day they announced the extremely hyped "IT" after a year of speculation. And it turns out to be the Segway was just a standing moped. Big Whoop! If I am going to travel I sit down, thank you. My $300 bike will be just fine. But the point is, the web has been disappointing and I would like to find a few good sites I have never seen before...
